Our Network

Featured Project: BuySellAds.com

BuySellAds started working with NetDNA in 2009, wanting to replace Amazon S3 to increase performance while lowering overall hosting costs. While evaluating solutions, BuySellAds determined they needed a CDN that could easily handle 2+billion small file requests per month, speed up their performance and easily integrate a Cache Purging API call into their existing backend.

Find out, how we can help You

NetDNA's network is designed for the smartest, fastest and most cost-effective delivery of content globally. Our 10 edge locations allow for the rapid distribution of content to end users, optimizing performance by loading files from the nearest geographic location.

Each location boasts multiple 10 gigabit capacity capable of supporting tens of thousands of simultaneous connections each. Our network's latency is 10ms from most of the US, further optimizing the end user experience.

We partner with upstream provider Mzima to provide 10 Gigabit backbone with over 1 Tbps of transit and peering capacity. Mzima's network includes over 500 peering partners worldwide, and direct reach into over 90 countries.

Our network boasts intelligent best-path routing, with a route analysis system in place to monitor packet loss and latency. This data is automatically analyzed on the fly to constantly adjust routing for optimal performance.

While other high-performance networks utilize multihoming to several Tier-1 providers, our network also interconnects directly with end-user ISP networks, significantly improving last-mile speeds.

What is an Edge Location?

The NetDNA infrastructure is a system of computers networked together across the Internet that cooperate transparently to forward content closer to end users, improving performance and scalability.

Each NetDNA edge location is strategically located in telcom facilities around the world to provide direct peering to local providers using Donught Peering for the lowest possible latency connections and fastest possible delivery to end users.

The Edge Locations are chosen to be strategic for peering, scalability and reliability.
